The goal of City
Market is to maximize the return on investment to merchants
and property owners of the SID. To achieve that goal, the
organization strives to accomplish the following objectives:
|
- Enhance
the mercantile environment by continuing street cleaning,
graffiti removal, security initiatives, and streetscape
and signage improvements as well as by improving downtown
street activities.
- Promote
New Brunswick as a business destination to people who work
downtown, people who live in New Brunswick, and people who
live in the region and are looking for unique dining, entertainment,
and shopping activities.
- Attract
new businesses to enhance the SID's retail mix by working
more closely with other economic development organizations
in the community.
